Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy describes how Damas Group Pty Ltd trading as Launch Port (ABN 58 162 956 274) (“LaunchPort”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use launchport.com.au, related booking and demo experiences on launchport.me, and our services for local businesses.
Who to contact
Privacy questions or requests: contact us via our contact form.
Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia.
What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details you provide (such as name, email address, phone number and business name).
- Booking and enquiry information needed to schedule or respond to a request.
- Technical data such as IP address, device/browser type and basic usage logs for security and reliability.

Transactional email (AWS SES)
We send transactional email only—messages you reasonably expect because of an action you took. Examples include:
- Booking confirmations and changes
- Appointment reminders
- Sign-in or verification codes
- Service notices related to an active booking or account
These messages are delivered through Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS SES). We use them to operate the service, not to send unsolicited marketing.
No marketing lists: We do not use these transactional channels to subscribe you to marketing newsletters. If we ever offer optional marketing communications, they will be separate, with their own consent and unsubscribe mechanism.
How we use information
- Provide websites, booking flows, AI reception features and support you ask for.
- Send transactional notifications described above.
- Respond to messages you send through our contact form.
- Secure, maintain and improve our systems.
- Comply with law and respond to valid requests.
Disclosure
We share information with service providers who help us operate LaunchPort (for example hosting, email delivery via AWS SES, booking or authentication providers). They handle data only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting or reporting requirements, then delete or de-identify it where reasonable.
Security
We use administrative, technical and organisational measures appropriate to the services we provide. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law (including the Australian Privacy Act 1988), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Use our contact form for privacy requests. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
